Student Appointment Registration for Cinderella's Closet Boutique is now OPEN for the following dates:
- February 17-18
- March 2-3
- March 9-10
Please sign up at the SignUpGenius link below!
- Appointments are STRONGLY encouraged. Walk-ins will be accepted after noon each day; however, we may direct you to make an appointment at a later date if we reach capacity.
- Please sign up for one appointment slot per high school student.
- We will have a waiting area for caregivers; however, space is limited so please plan accordingly! We recommend each student bringing one member of their family or a friend. We will have some photography and videography in various public spaces during the Boutique, so if a student is under 18, we will need a model release signed by a parent/guardian.
- This year, we are located at The Shops at Worthington Place (7227 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085; West Entrance, Near Amano's Pizza)

Location & Parking
We are located at the Shops at Worthington Place (7227 North High Street, Worthington, OH 43085; West Entrance, Near Amano’s Pizza).
You can park in any of the mall lots and walk through mall itself. The Check In area will be at the former Lily Limes shop inside the mall, next to the children’s play area.
Appointment Check In and Wait Times
Please arrive on or close to on time for your appointment. We are expecting 25 students every half hour and we want to make sure that everyone gets an equal amount of time in the Boutique! We will check you in, verify your proof of high school registration, and call your name to be matched with a Personal Shopper when one is available.
Note: We are all volunteers and things can get a bit hectic and sometimes behind schedule. We will do our best to keep things moving, but please bear with us!
If you’re unable to make your appointment, please go into Sign-Up Genius and cancel your appointment. You can also edit it to choose a different time/date if you need to reschedule.
If you have any issues, please email email@example.com and we can help.
How the Boutique Works
Students are paired with Personal Shoppers, who work with you to find the perfect dress for prom - taking fit, style, color, and any prom themes into consideration. We also assist with finding jewelry and accessories to match, helping round out your outfit! This is a little different from a traditional shopping session, so your family and friends must hang out in the waiting area, but don’t fret – our Personal Shoppers are pros and are here to help!
You may want some extra input when you narrow your dress choices down and we have a couple areas available where you can show your top two choices to your guest if you’re undecided. While we LOVE fashion shows, we may not have the ability to walk the runway and show off every dress! Your Personal Shopper will be happy to snap photos you can send to your family and friends!
What to Wear and What to Bring
We have a large, open dressing area with mirrors and dress racks for you to try on any dress you like. Please wear something comfortable you can slip on and off and undergarments that provide coverage as you try on the dresses (leggings, sports bra, shorts. etc.) If you would like to bring a pair of heels to try on with dresses, feel free to do so! Some dresses are a little long and heels can help with figuring out fit.
Who to Bring with You
Our waiting area is limited, so we encourage you to bring one parent/guardian or a trusted friend!
Will You Be Doing Walk-Ins This Year?
We strongly encourage appointments so we can make sure we have the capacity to accommodate everyone. Walk-Ins will be on a limited basis in the afternoons when we are able, but we reserve the right to make the call to “appointment only” if we are behind schedule.
Other Important Details
There are some restaurants in the area if you would like to grab a bite to eat before or after your appointment – Piada, Pies & Pints, Panera, Aladdin’s – to name a few.
While you can eat and drink in the waiting area, the Boutique and dressing areas are off limits to food and drinks.
The Worthington Farmer’s Market is held in the mall on Saturday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm. Feel free to visit the vendors’ booths – they have a lot of good stuff to offer!
Please be mindful of the Boutique space, the mall, and of folks who are not attending the Boutique. We are all guests of the mall and want to make sure we are good patrons.
If you have any dresses or accessories to donate, we will have some donation bins in the Check In area. We accept new and gently used formal dresses, jewelry, and handbags.
What is the Cinderella's Closet Boutique?
The Cinderella's Closet Boutique is Fairy Goodmothers' signature event held in the late winter/early spring prior to prom season. We invite high school students in need of a prom dress and accessories to make an appointment to "shop" free-of-charge. Each student is paired with a Personal Shopper to help them find a dress that fits, flatters, and makes them look and feel their best!
We work year-round in preparation for our annual Cinderella's Closet Boutique, where girls make their prom selections. We have many committees that do everything from fundraising, soliciting donations, sorting and preparing our inventory, coordinating with school guidance counselors, and reaching out to schools to spread the word about the Boutique.
Donations of gently used prom dresses and accessories from a variety of sources are accepted through dress drives and private donations. To fill the gap between what we collect and what we need to make the Boutique successful, we hold a variety of fundraising events. Our organization is also fortunate to partner with local businesses who serve as sponsors of our events. Their generous support contributes significantly to our ability to do what we do each year for Central Ohio girls.
