Fairy Goodmothers is an all-volunteer, women-run nonprofit organization based in Columbus, Ohio. For many students, Prom has become cost-prohibitive, so Fairy Goodmothers steps in by providing a dress and accessories free of charge. Since our inception in 2005, we have outfitted over 20,000 high school students in need at Cinderella's Closet Boutique, our pop-up shop held each spring.
-
CCB is our signature event—we host a unique pop-up shop over several weekends in the spring. Students who sign up can shop our selection of new and gently used dresses, jewelry, and accessories, assisted by their own personal shopper, and take home the perfect ensemble free of charge.
-
CCB only occurs in the Spring. We are an all-volunteer non-profit organization and cannot operate outside of the designated weekends. As circumstances permit, we do host a fundraising Tag Sale in the Fall to offer Homecoming dresses at a discount.
-
Fairy Goodmothers' mission is to help defray the great cost of going to prom or end-of-year formal events by providing a dress and accessories to students in need. Any female or female-identifying student in grades 9-12 who is planning to attend Prom in the spring is welcome to come choose their perfect gown.
Students must bring proof of current high school enrollment to the Boutique's Check-In area.
