    Dress Sorting Days

    On Inventory Sorting & Donation Days, we have volunteers come in to organize, inspect, and sort dresses and accessories that come in frequently through dress drives, corporate donations, and community donations. We also open our doors to the community to drop off donations.

    We check each item for wear and tear, current style, and ensure it's ready for a future prom-goer. We tag each dress with a unique inventory number and organize them on the "floor" by size and color.

    Hold a Dress Drive

    Are you interested in holding a dress drive at your office or school? Fairy Goodmothers will help you get started with planning and what it takes to run a successful drive. You and your co-workers and friends can donate dresses and accessories to help make prom dreams come true.

    Note: We are based in Columbus, Ohio! Many internet searches for “prom dress drive” and “Fairy Goodmother” will bring you to us, which we love! However, we are unable to help coordinate dress drives for other nonprofits or groups based outside of the state of Ohio.
